Nana’s Anti-Mould Solution is built around a small number of hardworking, plant-based ingredients chosen for both performance and practicality in humid homes. Each ingredient plays a vital role in breaking down mould, mineral build-up, and grime naturally.
Vinegar
A traditional cleaning staple that helps break down mould, mineral build-up, and grime naturally. Its acidity makes it especially useful in damp areas like bathrooms, windows, and tiles.
Clove essential oil

Many conventional mould cleaners rely on harsh chemicals and heavy fumes. Nana’s Remedy Co. takes a different approach, using plant-based ingredients to remove visible mould and freshen damp spaces without the harsh chemical smell associated with bleach-based products.
Safe for your home
Nana’s Remedy Co. is a plant-based alternative to harsh chemical mould cleaners, using simple ingredients like vinegar and essential oils instead of bleach, ammonia, or synthetic fragrances. We don’t use bleach, ammonia, synthetic fragrances, chlorine-based cleaners, or single-use plastic bottles.
While our Anti-Mould Solution is gentler, it’s still a concentrated product. We recommend keeping it out of reach of children, allowing surfaces to dry before pets come into contact, avoiding direct skin or eye contact, and using in well-ventilated areas.
Some essential oils can be sensitive for certain pets or individuals, so we always encourage spot testing and sensible use.
Our goal is to create products that are effective enough for real mould problems while avoiding the heavy chemical load found in many conventional cleaners.
